The fact that it was family-run and welcoming. Me and my daughter stayed at the hotel for 10 days and got to know the family who ran the htoel. They are now our friends and should we return to Side, we would choose Sato Hotel for its central location. It is only a 1 minute walk to the beach and the shops are just round the corner. It also have the more reliable wifi signal of all the hotels in ancient Side so we were able to keep our friends updated of our movements whilst on holiday via facebook! We definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Nice simple Family hotel with very good location in Side
If you want to have your room cleaned, just ask for it.

Friendly people, good location, good food and breakfast, nice garden
No cleaning, few problems with hot water, bathroom was quite poor

My son and I stayed at the Sato Hotel recently. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The owners were fantastic, They could not do enough for us. The evening meal was always delicious. I hope to return to Side in the future and I will definitely book at the Sato Hotel again.

Very central location, close to many restaurants and short walk to a small strip of beach where the sun loungers are free of charge for hotel guests. The owners were friendly and helpful during our stay.
